mandrake - any chance it's an equipment issue? A bad modem or router would do that.

OK, so I just upgraded my service from Gen4 to Gen5.


A little better, but I only get those speeds for 20gb of data per month, and the ping is still useless for gaming.

I have the option for a DSL service that maxes out at 1 Mb/s download.
Crap service around here!

The trade-off is that it's a nice area more in the country with room for kids to get outside, build a fort in the woods, and so forth. I can deal with the slow internets, for now...
