Twenty-four-year-old takes developer to court after being banned from selling his own "how to" guide over eBay; plaintiff says guide doesn't violate copyrights.

At first I thought Blizzard was going overboard, I mean GameFaqs has been around for many years with no adverse affects. But, then GameFaqs doesn't charge either. Blizzard does have a right to protect their IP.
As far as fair usage rights, I am not a lawyer but I thought that allowed you to quote or use small exerpts of pictures and text to illustrate a point or to teach, but doesn't allow full access to copywrited material.

I think the problem is that the guy used WoW trademarked logo to make money without getting authorized permission. Just like those Prima Strategy guides, they need full disclosed permission from Publisher on various things to publish and sell their guides.
