how to un-hide menus in morrowind

All right, I feel really stupid right now. I accidentally double clicked on my inventory menu in morrowind and now it's gone. After looking through the manual for the game, I found out that double clicking any menu is supposed to "hide" the menu. I pressed every button on the keyboard and can't seem to be able to get that menu back.

Is there any way to un-hide the menus in morrowind once you've (accidentally) hidden them?

Yes, simply click on the related icons at the bottom of your screen.

For instance, one of the images on the lower right is that of your map. Click on it and your large map will come back up. Click on the image of which spell you've got selected (lower left) and your spell list will come back up.

Your health/fatigue/magicka bar image (lower left) will bring up your health & abilities menu. Weapon icon will bring up your inventory menu.



I open and close those menus all of the time. Especially when I'm taking items from my inventory and placing them at various locations of whatever place I've taken to occupy.

Thanks Gaim. Sometimes it's the simplest things........... I tried just about every button on the keyboard, I even went as far as going into the .ini file to try and find the section for menus to see if I could re-enable it from there. And all this time it was so simple........ :dunce:

Funny, I ran into that same problem! I ended up going to the official boards to find out how to undo what I did. :lol:

Took me quite some time too, before I figured out how to get the menus to reappear. I guess everyone that has playd MW has run into that problem one time or another. :lol:
