Prerelease demo for oblivion?

Was just curious if there were any rumors floating around about a pre-release demo for Oblivion?

I highly doubt it. We never got one for Morriwind. And judging by the sheer size and open-ended gameplay, I doubt we'll see a demo since it would be kinda difficult to get it done. I'm sure they're working on expansions now and just dont have resources for a demo =]

Would be nice imo, but very doubtful.

However imo a demo can be done, just like the Gothic series had demo's and they are very open-ended rpgs.

I think you could make a demo because in the preview one person mentioned how when the game loads it loads in all the new senery, characters and geometry. They should just make a demo and only include the data for the city of cyrodil and the immediate area surrounding it.

Also seems a bit unfair to the Xbox customers. Why should the PC guys get a sneak peek, while they have to wait. Especially when both versions are coming out at the same time.

They could also limit it to a certain race and a couple of classes, and put a level cap on it. That would probably help a lot, too.
