This one is different.
If money were no object, and if you had all the vacation time you needed, where would you go?
I would like to see Greece and Egypt. Being an ancient history buff, I've always wanted to see these countries.

Italy, Greece, and Egypt would be up there for me as well. To be able to see and touch something that was built over 21 centuries ago would be amazing. I would also like to visit Australia some day. Hawaii would also be great.

I've been to Egypt a couple of times but haven't been back over the last decade. It's a very interesting country. Cairo is literally a crazy crowded mess and Egypt is a pretty big landwise. Also, it can get really hot and back then at least, it was very difficult not to pick up stomach illnesses. Of course the archeological places are stunning but I think just camping on the beautiful beaches of the Sinai Peninsula was my favorite thing to do. I've also been to Israel a couple of times and it's an amazing country to see. Very small the size of New Jersey but very diverse. Of course they have some well-known problems there but Jerusalem is unlike any city I've ever seen. Tel Aviv is pretty cool too, kind of like a small New York City but more European.
Anyway, to answer your question if money was no object I think I'd want to go on some sort of photographic safari to Africa. It'd be amazing to see the wildlife, and I really know very little about that continent so it would truly be a learning experience.

I've been to Italy quite a few times, and two years ago I went to Greece, and I can assure you that they're both amazing places to go. That's one of teh advantages of living in Europe I guess, being able to visit these places in an ordinary vacation.
Off course that means that if money were no object I'd really want to go to the US and Canada. I've been to the US once, to the national parks and the west coast (national parks, San Fran, LA, etc.), but I really want to see some other places in the US too. The great lakes region, the east coast cities, Florida etc. are all places I want to go one day. Off course Australia and South East Asia are on that list too. I've always said that after I graduate I want to go backpacking through that region for a few months.

I really envy you Impressario and Circlebreaker. I've always thought that those two countries would be so exciting to see and explore. I've been to Britain and really enjoyed that trip, but haven't been able to do anything else.
And Circlebreaker, if you really want to enjoy Florida, don't come in July. Hot and extremely humid.

I'd see a LOT of my big comfy leather sofa... at least for a while until I got bored. Then I think I'd go visit the bathroom and maybe even tour the kitchen before playing some more games and taking a nap.
Cheers, Terry

I've been to Florida, a few Caribbean islands, NYC, a few places in the east of Canada and France (Normandy, Loire and Paris).
I would really like to visit Tokyo and other places in Japan. Greece would be interesting as well. I'd also like to visit the Swiss and German Alps.
EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot about Alaska! Thanks for the reminder Jag :D:

Anywhere there is snow and skiing. There is only a few little mountains where you can in Australia, and I can't afford to go. Would like to go where there are lots of snowy skiiing mountains.

I'll take a month in Alaska. Fishing, hiking, camping (all in the summer months of course!) would be right up there along with a few fly-in trips to the "real" wilderness of Alaska. :shades:

If you're ever in Canada, hit Banff and Lake Louise, in the dead of winter. Some of the finest skiing in the world in them Rocky Mountains.

Or you can skip right over that commercial trap they call Banff, and move a little up north and go to Jasper, Alberta's true mountain park wilderness (ain't that right Chylde? :p: )

I've been to Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Spain, and Sweden. It is really amazing to see the old buildings and to get just a little feeling of the history of those places.
If money were no option, I would want to take a trip around the world and see everything. I love traveling, and I'm fascinated by other cultures and customs, so that would be a dream come true for me.

Honestly, anywhere but here. Alabama is nice but there's just not much to "see" here. I'd like to go to California, and see a really big city or something. I'd also like to visit Ireland, France or Italy.

New Zealand would be really awesome to see. Such a gorgeous country.
I'd also like to see Italy, Greece, and possibly Egypt for historical reasons. Hawaii or some place in the Caribbean would be worth visiting as well.
