What game purchase have you been most disappointed in

Lords of the Realm 3. For some reason they missed the awesome stuff that were part of Lords of the Realm 2 and made the 3rd one crappy. The game wasnt bad but rather "different" than what the fans expected.

This took me all day, believe it or not. I think the game I was most disappointed in was Starship Titanic (I think that was its name). It could have been much better.

Well, let's see. I suppose it would have been World of Warcraft, but since I got that with a gift card, I didn't really have to spend any money on it. So it get's a close second.

I've a tie for first between SimCopter and Neverwinter Nights. SimCopter was great in it's premise (fly around, import your SC200 cities, do missions, interacti with your Sims...), but it was a horrible, blocky, messy mess in which the most fun to be had was to drop the hospital workers into the nearest body of water and watch them drown. I never really got into NWN, even though I do like RPG's in general. The whole story seemed overwritten, the interface much too complicated for what it did, the characters bland and uninteresting.

It's a toss up between King's Quest 8 (purchased on Ebay as part of complete set) and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. The ony reason I don't like RT3 is because after I played it a few times, it would no longer even run. It would freeze up in the main menu and I'd have to reboot. Reinstalling did nothing. It has to be a glitch in the registry or something. *shrugs* I prefered RT2, anyway, but the coaster making features in 3 were much nicer.

Can't really think of any right now. There have definitely been games that I've been dissapointed with, but then I usually just shelve them and forget about them.

Rainbow 6 Lockdown (or let down).I got this for the Xbox as I was a fan of the other two Rainbow games on the Xbox and this was just awful considering
it got delayed soooo much.
