I'm trying to play "The Witcher" Mpeg2 movie I DL'd from 3DGamers. I get the following error from Windows Media Player...

You've encountered error message C00D11CD while using Windows Media Player. You might be able to find a solution for this error by using one of the following support resources:

WMP tried to DL codecs, etc., automatically but still couldn't run the movie. I have WinXP Home with WMP 9 (latest version as I checked for updates and there were none).

Any ideas what I have to get or do to play the movie?

I'm trying to d/l it right now, but off the top of my head let's start w/ the basics.

Have you tried to d/l from a different host? It's possible that the file was corrupted on the way to you.

Sometimes the download manager will "complete" but only because it has lost contact w/ the d/l host and timed out. So there you'll only get a percentage of the full file. Make sure it's 44.3MB in size.

File size is 45,413kb as listed in windows explorer.

You could be right in that there might be something wrong with the file. I'll try another download from a different source and see if that makes a difference.
