New Rainbow Six Lockdown demo is out!

Ubi Soft sends along a playable demo for Rainbow Six: Lockdown, offering the first opportunity to try out the squad-based tactical shooter sequel that is nearing completion at Red Storm. This demo contains a single-player mission situated in South Africa that's also playable in co-op, along with the Prison multiplayer map with the 'Team Adversarial' game mode.

I'd like to point out that this is not like the console bastardization lockdown, but actually changed quite a bit for the pc players. However there's still only one team and no mission planner :(.

I think that those expecting rainbow six will be dissapointed. This game plays nothing like rainbow six at all. How ever, if you look at the game as a tactical action game you will see that it is quite fun. The missions are linear and A.I. is a good shot but stupid. The waepons are cool and I love the gun models and iron sights. The game also runs well on older systems. Squad commands are easy but lose the intricacy of the previous games. Your teamates are good as distractions and that is about it.

I think this is a pretty good game, not really a rainbow six game but fun for what it is.

yeah you got a point about that. I played rainbow six a verry verry long time and because i heard that lockdown was going to be mutch diffrent than te console version i was more exiting then ever about it but i got the demo today and yeah i was a little dissapointed..... But stil it's a nice game to play :D
