I couldn't be more disappointed with this game after enjoying it for many hours.

I visited all the planets, and the game just kind of stops moving forward - I still have a bunch of side quests on my log that went nowhere - the main storyline just kind of stops and i don't know where to go or what to do.

I can't fathom going through this game again any time soon - i hate the swoop races - and skipping through the multitude of dialogue all over again just pains me to think about, so I put it to rest for now.

Dunno, just kind of posting my frustration with it - it was so good for many hours - then just kind of falls apart.

I am getting so tired of games these days being so shoddily put together.

I expected more from Bioware/LucasArts etc..,

Really bummed it's just a mess and had to move on and forget about it, the first game was a classic and I'd almost rather play that game over again at this point...ugh.

Yeah, I heard that it was rushed onto the shelf at the expense of finishing well.
Kind of sucks.
I really liked the first one.

What order did you do the planets in, Supa? If you did Onderon/Dxun last, I think I know what happened to your game.

Let me know, and I'll explain, if that's how you did them.

On a side note Supa, Bioware didn't do this game

Yeah, same thought occured to me too. That was a big design error they made there, IMO.

Hmm, can't think off-hand which planet I did last - but I apparently went in the most logical order. I want to say I visited the "ruins" planet last - which, while here at work, I just can't think of the name of the planet.

The game didn't end - but there's nothing to tell me which planet to go to next and I've visited it all of them on the starmap, and completed everything I ran into.

Bruneor - thanks, forgot Bioware didn't do this one - which doesn't suprise me.

They are older articles and I am having a hard time finding them right now, but apparently a lot of stuff was left out to push it out the door on time. The worst part, most of the missing pieces are actually on the disc. For the longest time there was an inititive by a mod group to actually finish the code and activate the dorment content. Unfortunately, I have not heard about this in awhile. I know the offical LucasArts forums actually had a lot of the discussions from the modders.

Makes it feel like you bought a book with random chapters torn out.

Here is hoping KoTOR 3 for the 360 redeems the series.

There was a bug about doing Onderon last. There are two times you go to the plant's surface. After the first time on the surface, it takes about an hour (on some in-game clock) to go back and finish things up there.

One of the Mandalorians is supposed to contact you to tell you when it's time to go back, he'll receive word from the Jedi Master on Onderon that they need your help, and you in turn will get a message about this. Then you need to return to the Mandalorian camp on Dxun, and talk to the guy in the building where you picked up Mandalore. Then you can go to Onderon for the second time.

If you've finished everything on Onderon/Dxun, and all the other planets, that means you've probably found all the Jedi Masters. Once that's done, you should return to Dantooine, to the ruins of the Jedi Enclave, if you haven't tried that yet.

I have to be honest, I didn't have any issues with the game, and I found it to be a pretty decent game overall, one I really enjoyed.

Except for the HUGE bug on Dantooine I think it was where the frame rate dropped to 0.5/second I had no troubles with this game. I did find the stroy kind of weak at the end and things obviously weren't finished though, thing such as the HK factory and on the last planet I got a diamond (lightsabre crystal) but I never got a place to put it into a lightsabre after that point.

I too haven't heard much from that mod team recently and I would like to play the full game once it's actually released

That bugged turned out to be ATI's fault. They have since fixed it with their Catalyst drivers. It hit me too and had to wait months before it was finally resolved to where I could play the game.

Blame the publisher, not the developers...

Also, check Team Gizka (http://www.team-gizka.org/), they're working on restoring a lot of the scenes that were left out of the game. A big project, but it seems very interesting.

Thanks Chylde and others - I honestly didn't have any issues with the game either outside of the side quests that just went nowhere (a few of them) and this problem of not knowing where to go next - just kind of a sloppy rush job obviously they did on it that's well noted. I will go back and check things out with my light side Sentinel character.

Also interested in what comes of that mod certainly.
