Hello all,

I have a quick question:Every time I complete all the required goals in the level(I believe) called, "Shattered Windows", I cannot leave the helipad while I enter the "little bird". It simply won't take off. Is this a bug? I recently bought this game at Fry's, as part of the Platinum Pack, but I haven't yet installed Team Sabre. Would that update BHD and get rid of this bug, if that's what the problem is?

Don't really know about that specific problem, but I would install the expansion. It will patch it up to the latest version, and you will still be able to play your old missions. Try that out and get back to us.

Mmm.......nope. It didn't fix it. I'm still having problems with the end of that level. :rolleyes:

I recently bought DF:BHD platinum too.. i don't remember having your problem though. Does it happen everytime on the level? Maybe you havn't completed all the required goals in the level. Press whichever key you have set to see the objectives and make sure its all been completed.

And im guessing you mean "Shattered Palace" not "Shattered Windows".
I'll play through the level again now and see if i can understand your problem more.

Ok, i just went through the mission "Shattered Palace" again. You said you can't leave the helipad while you enter the little bird. Im assuming you mean at the very end of the level after your meant to grab an M60 and cover your team as they make their way out with the POW's. After you cover them and they escape a little bird flies in the pick you up. It lands, you need to press a key to get on it (i use shift). Once you board a second later it cuts away and level is successful.

Yeah, when I attach to the helicoptor, it stays stationary. I'm waiting and waiting...and nothing. I checked all the objectives, and the only one left unmarked is to leave via the chopper. I went everywhere looking for bad guys(I even took out some civilians, by accident..........ok, frustration). I even went down to where my trucks were with the captured baddies. Nothing. I go to the other building where there were bad guys and wait. Finally, I go back to point A, atop the landing of the roof and wait.......the helicoptor doesn't even start its engine. I have since given up on that level and moved on. Overall, a great game--both terrifying and exciting, at the same time.
