Unfortunately, not as often as I should. Though, I do have backups of about 75% of my important documents.

What is this "backup" you speak of?

Not nearly enough.

I don't have many important documents on my home PC. Just games and some family photos and my resume, that kind of thing, so I don't do backups very often.
Thanks for the reminder though, I should probably back up that stuff today.

Since everything I submit for school goes onto a jump drive, it's all back'ed up. :p:

I used to have a sign in my cubicle when I worked for Hewlett Packard since half of our problems were from AOL and the other seemed to be missing documents. It read:
Jesus saves, God makes backups.
I always found that humorous... which I needed when I was being yelled at because they lost all their financial information and I could not get it back.

Always, right as I save it, I also save it to my usb flash drive.

heh... I just got nailed HARD by a spyware thingy that kept repeatedly trying to install all these "spyware killer" applications. It took over my desktop (put up an ad about me needing spyware removal tools) locked out my task manager, locked my desktop properties out and continuously spammed me with windows bubbles telling my computer is infected.
This all happened because I was playing around trying ot get my X360 to recognize my PC so I could share music, and I lowered my firewall. Thank god for Windows System Restore points, I downloaded a new firewall, some better (and legit) anti-spyware software, locked out my net, backed out to a restore point from yesterday and installed the new software.
phew... disaster averted...
