man's statement that his instructions during an action-packed video game were simply misinterpreted -- prompting the evacuation of a North Jacksonville restaurant -- isn't deterring police from pursuing felony charges against him.

They put him in jail for THAT? That's just retarded.

I can understand the police taking him in for questioning. After all, it's not really their job to determine guilt or innocence. But it does make me wonder what in the hell the DA's office was thinking by forcing this to the grand jury, sure seems stupid.
On the other hand, there really isn't any excuse for calling a business and yelling those words into the phone. At the very least the guy should get a swift kick in the butt.

They have to take it more seriously than it would seem to warrant. That's the kind of thing that could potentially cause a panic and injuries in a public place. Particularly in the climate we live in these days. Goes back to the whole shouting "movie" in a crowded firehouse thing.

?
You mean "fire" in a moviehouse, right?
It wasn't as if it was a prank call or anything...

I do agree the guy should be punished, but I don't think putting him in jail is right. It's not like he killed someone.
Well, I was half asleep when I read this, so I probably missed something
