Hi, i bought F.E.A.R today and im having problems getting the game started. Could it be that my graphics card is too old? its a MSI FX 5600, or mabye it could be some other problem?. The thing is i can play doom 3 and far cry with my card, which is kinda strange cause those games are pretty high standards.
plz help me, thanks.. :):

According to the system spec's it should run on that video card (Lowest Geforce card supported is the Geforce 4)... What are the rest of your system Spec's?
Here is a thread on the VU Games / F.E.A.R. Forums that may be of some interest:

According to the demo and VU the game supports down to a gf 3 ti, which is lower than a gf4 or did I miss something?

Wow must have been a last minute cut. It ran great for me on my gf3 ti 200. Guess I may need to take it back.

Reinstall the game, if I'm not mistaken your card is not compatible. For a mere $90 you can get a card that should play it fine:

But if you cant resolve the problem and do decide to get a new video card I suggest getting something better then I linked, my 7600GT runs F.E.A.R on all highest settings perfectly.
