Just rename the fear.exe file to whatever you want. Apparently the ATi AI thing is optimizing the game for the FEAR demo which is crapping up the performance in retail version

Wierd huh??

Maybe I'll go buy the game now since my 9800 Pro is going to run it 30% better.

Let me tell you this, I'm playing max everything with 4x AA and 8xAF, I'm getting silky smooth performance all around. What a beautiful game this is with all this eyecandy =]

I remember having all these options turned on with my old system, I was getting average 6 to 7fps. Now my average is 51 =]
