You heard him. You read about him. Now, get set for an audio/visual nail to the brain, as Warcraft kamikazi legend Leeroy Jenkins joins the GGL broadcast team live and IN PERSON at this weekend's BlizzCon!

Coverage begins Friday at 10 a.m. Pacific time and continues through Saturday night's closing concert by Orange County's own platinum punks, The Offspring, including live interviews with attendees, Leeroy's walking tour of the convention and all the hottest gamers and gaming action.

The main event, BlizzCon Invitational Tournament will be streamed real-time to the GGL web site by Chris WaCKSteVeN Iannitti, a veteran World Cyber Games StarCraft commentator, the crew from inside The Game and, of course, Mr. Leeroy Jenkins. Warcraft III coverage will be commentated by Kim bunny Vothang of Gamesports.de.

You may not be in Anaheim this weekend, but you can be a part of the action by tuning into the FREE video coverage of the event at www.ggl.com beginning Friday and Saturday morning at 10:00AM PDT (1:00PM EST).

This is where they are supposably announcing Diablo 3:

Diablo 3

Blizzard will also use the BlizzCon event to introduce Diablo 3 to gamers and if the excitement of Blizzard employees is anything to go by, the game will be a big deal. According to a message sent to WoW Guru by former Blizzard employee Chris Hartgraves, Diablo 3 takes place in heaven. Hell is trying to take it over and it is AWESOME looking ... Imagine the brightness of heaven being taken over by the darkness of hell ... Imagine WoW but in a Diablo world in amount of size and playability ... Also, guild housing is available in this game for those of you who know about it. They should have a gameplay demo to show at BlizzCon.

This is definitely the second most heartwarming story for Blizzard fans, the first being the developer's denial of any plans to bring WoW to XBox 360.

Funny, nerdy as can be, but that guy will probably be a millionaire some day and achieve some sort of lifelong cult status certainly, all because of one filmed act of stupidity - that was controversially staged, or not.
