Not sure what PRS means in regards to a file but there is a listing for it at the link below as follows.
Premium Rate Service
In the U.K., Premium Rate Service (PRS) is a telephone service that provides recorded information or live conversation for callers similar to 1-900 number service in the U.S. Callers are charged a higher rate on their phone bill, which is then split between the service provider and the network operator who leases the PRS number to the provider. PRS is a subcategory of Number Translation Service (NTS), and all PRS numbers begin with 090 with 0909 reserved exclusively for adult content services.

P.S.
Here are two more definitons of PRS, the second of which may be closer to what you need. However, through a simple Google search for ".prs files", I also found the third link below that sounds as if it might apply to "Presets" in certain types of audio files (.prs files are mentioned in the second blurb in the page and may lead you to a more specific definition).

prs Command (SCCS)
Purpose
Displays a Source Code Control System (SCCS) file.
Syntax
prs [ -a ] [ -d String ] [ -r [ SID ] | [ -c Cutoff ] ] [ -e | -l ] File ...
Description
The prs command first reads the specified files and then writes to standard output a part or all of a Source Code Control System (SCCS) file. If you specify a directory for the File parameter, the prs command performs the requested actions on all SCCS files (those with the s. prefix). If you specify a - (minus) for the File parameter, the prs command reads standard input and interprets each line as the name of an SCCS file. The prs command continues to read input until it reaches an end-of-file character.
