Daikatana keymap question

I was recently inspired to go back and play some old games that I never got a chance to play before. So I'm playing Daikatana and there are skill bars on the left side of the screen that flash "LEVEL UP!" It's clear that I should be pressing some key to dump my experience points into these skills, but I can't figure out how to do it?

Does anyone know the key to upgrade my leet skillz?

I had the game for n64, i couldnt get pass the first level with the music notes. I gave up after trying to figure out what to do for the pass 5 hours. lol

Talk about a game that didn't live up to its hype! I think ever since, every long-awaited game has wanted to avoid the dud that game turned out to be. :(:

If I recall, there were a cluster of keys similar to WASD over on the right side of the keyboard that would let you select where the upgrade would go.
I think they were OKL; or OJKL.
Check the control settings for keyboard assignment.
Sure, it was a dog of a game, after all that hype, but it is a co-op game too.
It was fun to go through it with a friend. There are just not enough co-op games out there yet.
