Rome: Total War problems. Help!

I've been playing Rome: Total War for quite some time and I stopped due to examinations. Just few days back, I loaded my save game and to my horror, the seas/waters was in a light brown(kinda Egypt sand type) color instead of the usual blue color(duh!). Anyone help? :doa:

Yeah, I updated my graphic cards to meet the requirements of another game, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. It just happen with Rome: Total War game. Could it be that the graphic cards I downloaded are not compatitible with my old ones or the game?

Yet another problem! Now my armies that are in the map are invisible. Which means I cannot see the character, but only the faction flag. I can't even see my spies and diplomats cos they ain't got flags, help!

Is your game fully patched, I think theres a new one out that might fix the problem.

I'm having the same problem at the moment.
Can't see units on the campaign map, nor the water.
This also goes for the battlemap. Units are sometimes visable sometimes not( depending on distance and place on screen) And horses aren't visable at all.

I tried all the new patches and videocard drivers. Nothing works. I used to play the game on the same setting, and it had no problems at all. Really amazes me. I also did a full system format, and reinstalled the game and tried it with every version, and every patch. Same problem...

Do more ppl have this problem, or have any idea what it does or how to solve it? Seems like a driver problem for my videocard, but I have the latest drivers installed. Maybe try an older version orso?

im having exactly the same problems as reint, the game is imposible to play with these problems, does ny1 have a solution?

What are your system configurations? I have not had a chance to try the latest patch yet but up to Barbarian Invasion expansion, game still works fine.

Some one please help. I have been playing RTW quite some time now and i am having some finacial problems. For some reason anytime I want to save money, the game wont let me. I wont spend a dime of the money that I have earned from taking a turn, and I go to take the next turn my money drops down to like 50 denari from 7000 denari. Also has any one had a problem with their faction founder killing off all your new born babies and it says you are defeated. That happen to me a couple of days ago, but I just kept on playing. One final issue.
My general will some times have units/building displayed as their faces ie calvary, cohort, forum, etc. any ideas? I don't have any of the patches installed so could that be a problem?
