Amazon has both Star Wars Galaxies and Knights of the Old Republic on sale for $18.99 US. This is part of their Friday sale so it's today only. I would highly recommend KOTOR if you're into rpg.

ooo, great price for KOTOR! Good find, RHooks!
I paid full price (and bought an XBOX) just so I could play the game. But I don't regret it one little bit.

That's cheap! Like £12!
Worth it for that. It might not last long, but it is worth 2 cinema tickets.

That's $18.99 each. Not $18.99 for both. The way I worded my post didn't make that clear.

Through a simple title search for the game using Amazon's own search window and their internal database (not a general web search), I found the following link to an online seller named Way To Game that has KOTOR for just $9.99 with free worldwide shipping.
Can this be legit? Anyone here ever bought anything from them?
Here's the link:

No way,.....Terry this site is trying to sell "Copied" software, labled as "Imports". These quotes clearly give that away...
"Most common question is: "What is the difference between import games
and domestic games?" Most import games do not support ONLINE PLAY and
update patches!"
"All games come DISKS ONLY, no manuals and no boxes will be provided!"
"Most games sold on this site are imports from all over the World"
Bad idea.....

Ah, I see. Wasn't going to buy anything from them anyway but thought it merited a look.

Ya, no biggie.....I'm sure they are going the "Third Party" website route, so they can claim "innocence" if anyone questions them.....pretty slick scam.

Haha what is really sad is pirated games like that really are "imports" from most places.

I try to confine my tips to reputable places. I don't want to lead someone to a rip-off site. When I wanted to buy the original Baldur's Gate, I searched the Internet for the cheapest price and did find a place with a "too good to believe price" and choose to order from them. I received a used copy with a damaged second disk. No refunds, no exchanges. Fortunately, I was able to purchase a cd repair kit and fix the disk. Add that to the original cost, however, and my cost was about what it would have been if I had ordered it from a mainstream site. The website add didn't say it was a new copy but neither did it specify it was used.
Caveat Emptor.

Yeah, best paying a few extra quid and getting something respectable...
