The Community Bonus Pack for UT2004 is out. It has 21 maps and in my opinion, they totally beat the crap out of the retail ones, which were already awesome. All of them are just freakin' amazing, in both gameplay and eye candy. One DM map even takes place in a clock tower, Castlevania style.

If you're remotely into UT2004, you HAVE to check this one out!

You can download it here (http://www.fasterfiles.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=1019). The link doesn't always work due to high demand, but it rarely takes more than 2 minutes for it to be up. Besides, it's very much worth it! Even if it's down, there's a link to other mirrors on the page.

Below is what it contains, and here (http://www.planetunreal.com/cbp/forumpics/part1-1.jpg), here (http://www.planetunreal.com/cbp/forumpics/part1-2.jpg) and here (http://www.planetunreal.com/cbp/forumpics/part1-3.jpg) are some screenshots.

You can get it at fileshack - the servers aren't filled right now, so there is maybe a thirty second wait before you can download!

Has anyone played CTF-Skorbut yet? One word: Wow. :eek2:

Wow I just did Dan, that level runs about 10 FPS lower than all the others it seems. I was dropping down into the 20's during very heavy action, normal maps with my regular settings (everything maxed, 1280x1024, 4xAA 8xAF) would never go below 40 in the heaviest action.

It's a remake of a UT2003 custom map. I only played it once since I usually play DM, but the frame rate didn't seem so bad. It was much worse in the 2k3 version. It does look amazing though.

Check out DM-Reconstruct. I don't think it would be good for real DM, but the digital floor thing is a really cool idea :):

hmmm, didn't seem to bad of fps to me. I can't say the same about the map DM-Griffin. That map just totaly kills my FPS.

Heh that CTF map didn't really kill my FPS, I forgot I also had star wars galaxies running :P doh!
