AoE 3. I used to play AoE 2 a whole lot and me and my buddy were the best at it =]

I would have to say AoE 3 as well. I bought Black and White on day 1 and was thoroughly unimpressed by day 2. So seemed the majority of buyers. AoE just has better history when comparing the two.

I would be a LOT more exicted for AOE3 if they gave two freaking whoop de do's about combat.

Aoe3 was going to have formation bonsues, etc but they "couldn't balance" it, so they took it out, among other things.

They seem to want the easiest shallow combat they can possibly get and don't want to "upgrade" anything besides the "ohhhh special graphics" area, that seems like the main thing AOE3 was for, upgraded graphics with a few minor changes, no huge gameplay upgrades.

Why on earth they think people can't handle "strategy" in a "Strategy" game is beyond me.

I'd love to see AOE3 with combat on the scale of The Myth or Total war series, leaps and bounds beyond the AOE combat imo.

It might sound weird, but I've gotta say I don't care much for either. Sure AoE 2 was good - but games that last for 4 hours ? Seriously... And I never tried Black and White. IMO,you want a really good, recent RTS game ? Try Dawn of War, as Adew seems to think ;) However, i certainly am more curious about AoE 3.

AoE is a great game but right now im stuck on Heritage of kings. but i def will be buying AoE 3!
