First of all I wanted to thank everyone who helped me out in Strat Live last night. Playing as my hunter I absolutely hate the postmaster, unfortunately a Mage set piece drops from him which basically makes him a necessity. Thanks for tagging along for the trip and helping this mage out.

Thanks to Daz as well, who probably stayed on way too late for a weekday, to go through the whole thing. On the bright side, you got some nice new gear out of the deal. :thumbup:

Also thanks to Ald, who came and filled in for Ravynn when he had to log out. :thumbup:

On the guild side of things, its nice that our guild (along with some of our members mains—namely Chantel, Thebeer and Ravynn) that we are starting to be able to do these runs with the majority of the group being from our guild. The runs are fun in the first place, but nothing beats running through these things with close friends where everyone can trust everyone else. Thanks Z for finding these three.

On a side note, our guild gained a little bit of good rep with another guild called The Dark Legion the other day in UBRS in a run that Maus, Nef and I participated in. Relik was the leader of the group and has whispered me a few times since then, basically saying that any members of FoL would be welcome in any run without hesitation that they are putting together with open spots. We may be small, but at least we have a pretty decent rep amongst some of the bigger, instance-raiding guilds too.

I enjoyed the run. Probably did stay up too late but I'm an adult so that decision is up to me. I always appreciate being asked even if it's at a time I can't go.

I've setup WoW on a second computer that's a little more private. That way, if I want to stay up a little later I'm not bothering anyone. That's why I swapped in the middle of the run last night. You might start seeing that a lot at night as I still prefer to use my computer as much as I can. Downside is, that the second option has no headphones or Vent yet.

I'll high-jack Bruenor's thread and make it the event planning thread for this week. I'm having gall bladder removed Thursday afternoon so I don't plan on being on WoW Thursday. It's an out-patient thing so I'll have to see what happens after Thursday. Bottom line is, I probably won't be on line much this weekend.

Went a Strat UD run last night with Maus, Beer and Chantel, and that was a pretty good time. I picked up a little thing called Dracorian Gauntlets (http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=13344), and I like the spirit bonus. My old gloves (http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=10161) had a better AGL bonus, but I'm trying to get my AGL back down to about 300 (currently at 322) to see if the "diminishing returns" thing holds any truth to it. These gauntlets definitely help.

That was also my first instance run with the new gun, and I love it. I was causing all kinds of mayhem with the crits, and the only reason I didn't draw tons of aggro, imho, is that Thebeer is so good at holding it.

Anyway, as long as I'm on, I'm willing to go on instance runs now. The only exception will be when I need to farm mats for engineering, since this is my biggest money maker and I make my own ammo. This weekend should be good, I'll be on late Friday and Saturday, but Sunday and Monday currently appear to be all mine. I'll be up for pretty much anything on those two days. :yes:

hehe... the Dwarven ninja... Danth just looks to innocent to be a ninja, heh (although I have 4 pairs of high-end pants in the bank, including the evil Dreadmist, but we won't tell anybody that, heh).

Anyway, I'm open for any instance run still. I did manage to snag my Magisters pants out of Strat UD last night, so I have no more set pieces out of there, but I still need the stitchings out of there. I'm available usually every night after 7:30 server time on weekdays, and for this week, Friday night, Saturday during the day, Sunday afternoon on and all day Monday. My other set pieces drop in Scholo (2), LBRS (1), UBRS (1) and Strat Live (1, the dreaded postmaster, ugh and I need the thread out of there too). So obviously I still need to go everywhere with the Mage. On the Hunter side I need Scholo (1 and the skin), Strat UD (1), LBRS (1) and UBRS (1) but I'll go anywhere with the hunter if he's needed too.

On the flip side, now I prefer the mage in instances the more I play with her. She just has a more active role more often than the hunter (crowd control, counterspell, and massive DPS responsibilities all at the same time is kind of a blast in instance runs, heh, makes me feel like an important piece of the group instead of just a "support" role). Of course, I like being on top of the damage meters list too :yes: , just a little pride thing I guess, hehe.

No set plans of course from me, I'm always willing to go so just ask if you want to do something. Of course, my large brilliant shard ninja looting wife (seriously, she's "won" 9 of them in the last 2 days) will come along for the ride too.
