As promised, Michael Moore lit a powder keg Monday at the Cannes Film Festival: His incendiary “Fahrenheit 9/11” riled and disturbed audiences with a relentless critique of the Bush administration in the post-Sept. 11 world.

Moore's entitled to his opinion, same as everyone else. People need to realize that even though his films are billed as documentaries, he has his own agenda and slants his work to promote his politics. He's been accused in the past of using his facts "creatively". A lot of people see the title "documentary" and take it for gospel.

Micheal Moore = a celluloid troll (internet term, not living under the bridge term).
His sole purpose in life is to incite flame wars.

No, his real purpose in life is to promote himself and make loads of money from igniting flame wars... oh, and evidently eating several dozen Twinkies every day.

Cheers, Terry

I was really put off him from Bowling for Columbine where he looked at how Canada's stricter gun laws led to a society that "doesn't lock it's doors". He basically found a few people to say it and make it sound like we were all like that. I don't know one single person who doesn't lock the door when they are home, let alone when they go out!!

I am just not interested in his work at all. I simply ignore his existence.
