Well, there be some improvements here. The AI is actually using formations now. I also read a neat interview on IGN and the expansion seems like it will be very interesting. http://pc.ign.com/articles/641/641607p1.html

Thanks for the link to the interview! CA is known for making very good expansion packs, and looks like this one won't be any different! Really looking forward to it. :thumbup:

There is also this Rome: Total Realism mod that just turned to version 6.0 recently. It's packing quite a bit of features

I checked that mod out some time ago, but it wasn't nearly as expansive back then. Not as stable either, probably. Gonna have to try it out again sometimes. Is there somewhere a comprehensive list of all that they've changed? I couldn't find anything back on their site.

it has a whole bunch of changes including reskinning of all the units I think and stats changed
