I need help for the pc game, lord of the rings
Anyone knows how to get past the stage : Minas tirith : top of the wall?
its under the path of the wizard.
I cant kick the ladders down, there is no indication of which button to press.
please help someone? thanks

From memory you have to use your 'physical action' button. This is the button you press to shoulder someone while in a fight, that sort of thing.

Don't forget the ladders on the other side!!!

Thru out the game, i also notice i can only use sam.
anyone know why is this so?
i haven reached the last stage, but still in the middle part.
i cant use the other characters.

I haven't played the game yet but according to the reviews you have to initially choose one of the six main playable characters. They include; Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam or Frodo. You must have originally selected Sam or he may just be the defualt character (check your game manual for details). After you have finished the game once, you can also access three bonus characters including; Merry, Pippin and Faramir. But from my undertsanding, once you have chosen a main character and started a new game, you are stuck with him all the way through.

do i need to buy them? when i press on the key for changing into range weapon, i still get my sword. i am using sam thru out.

You really need to consult your official game manual (either printed or as a PDF file on the game CD), the developer's Readme text file (also on the main CD) and/or go to the publisher's web site to seek additional help.

If you also need more help with basic gameplay issues, combat, solutions, etc., then try searching for "the full title + walkthroughs" at www.google.com or simply visit any number of PC game cheat and hint web sites.

The game is freakin' hard! Anyone who has finished the game--COMPLETELY!-without cheats is cool. :scared:

There was only one part of the game I found overly hard, but I just played it on normal difficulty - can't imagine playing it on any other setting (if there is any, can't remember).

I liked the game quite a bit, and for $20 it was well worth it - considering the excellent presentation/graphics, voice overs and action in it - very cool game. Sure it could've been done better in a # of areas like any other game, but on the whole I thought it was a bit underrated....much like the Simpsons H&R, Mafia, and Starsky & Hutch were....on the PC that is.

I finished this game also, on my Xbox. I paid $30 for it, and it was well worth it. Very good game! (but yes, it was also frustrating at times).

Im still playing through it, only just got it.

Hey, that's a great deal. Hopefully you had a friend to eat all that pizza with and play co-op in the game. It's a fun game(when you're on a roll....but a real drag when you're not). Keep at it, though, and good luck. You need patience like one needs patience waiting in line at the DMV! :eek:
