Anyone still plays Anarchy Online?

Yesterday I reactivated my account to AO because I got a wicked deal in the email. For 14.95, they upgraded my account to delux which includes Noctum Wars and Shadowlands expansions and a free 30 day access. I havent played this in over a year and a half and I must say, the game has very much improved in alot since then. I was quite suprised to find my old characters still there =]

I stopped playing for a while now but got into Shadowlands for a while and leveled my Fixer up to lvl 60, twas a lot of fun. It's a MUCH better game now and over-all is probably my fav MMORPG out there. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to get involved with it these days. I will probably re-activate my account some time this year though and pick it up again for a while.

I honestly do not think a day goes by where at least Kat or myself does not log in to play, even for just a few minutes.

I was one of the beta testers for the game and was around for the famous, highly diasterous launch. In fact, I remember starting what turned out to be a huge thread with Hellman(I want to say Brian, been such a long time, used to be a big poster anyway)

I hated the game, so buggy, had no buisness being released. Started and stopped my account 4 times... and now love it. The improvements have been very significant to the game (which is partly why there is a monthly fee to all you MMORPG haters)

There are two main servers and all of our characters are on Rimor. If you pick Rimor, post your characters names and I will jump on and help you out.

I have a few characters on the Atlantean server. My highest is a lvl 26 Martial Artist =] And a bunch of other lvl 5-15 while experimenting with different professions.

If you guys still play, post your names and who did you side with (omni-tech or clans). I'm kinda lonely inside the game with all these l33ts running around hehe =] I havent decided what would be more fun for me to play yet, so I might have a bunch of lowbie characters still running around trying to grasp the feel. I like the Soldier class but the "How much my next weapon costs?!?" thing is rather frustrating hehe.

Zed, do not be put off by the weapon cost, every profession can be expensive (except MA) but affording everything is not as hard as it seems.

If you want, post how you want to play a character and I can find a class that you should like.

All of my characters are on Rimor, so unfortunately we cannot play unless you switch... not to be a butthead, but too much time invested in characters for me to switch over.

And I always choose Clan... mostly because I know all of their maps fairly well.

I have no problems switching servers and starting anew =] (I havent spent too much time on my other characters so its no problem for me) I'll most likely be playing as MA (I find this class rather fun) or soldier or nanotech guy (like a futuristic wizard =P)

I joined a Rimor server and started a MA character by the name of Dethy in the Clans =] lvl 3 now. Gonna do some missions and stuff now

Raf - check out the subways at your lower levels as you'll get some good XP and drops for low level quests in there. I think AO Stratics web site has the low-down on all the quests you can do now in addition to the missions.

I have a lvl 50 MA on Rimor too, named Deneth, though I haven't played him in a month or three. It's only the free year trial tough, so I don't have any of the expansions. Once you hit lvl 25 untill lvl 60, The temple of the three winds is a great spot for xp and loot. Currently I'm around there.

I don't like Anarchy Online because of bad graphic and lot of lagging.
I am planing to start playing WoW these days.
