Not a bad article but definitely an outsider's point of view written for a general audience of mostly non-gamers for the mainstream press. I especially enjoyed the description of the heroine in BloodRayne 2 and the overall depiction of gamer's taste - actually quite accurate if you think about today's youth-oriented, action-packed games and mass marketing techniques.

Interesting article, and yes, it's definitely from an outsider's point of view. I don't like how he emphasized on games like Leisure Suit Larry and Playboy: The Mansion though. These give us gamers a bad name...
