From SciFi:

It worked before. Fans of UPN's struggling Star Trek: Enterprise have organized a Save Enterprise Web site to encourage viewers to write and phone to ensure the show's renewal, about which an announcement is expected on May 20. USA Today, meanwhile, has included Enterprise in its online "Save Our Shows" survey of series that are reportedly "on the bubble," meaning at risk of cancellation.

Trekker Tim Brazeal is behind the Save Enterprise campaign.

The official Star Trek Web site reported that Enterprise has struggled in the ratings this year as it nears the end of its third season and the conclusion of its season-long story arc involving the crew's sojourn in the Expanse to stop the Xindi from destroying Earth.

* I enjoy the series, and I like the actors. Could it be better?...yes, but I would still like to see it continue. A cancelled show has no oppourtunity for better stories.

I'd rather they just start another new series. Enterprise has been the worst. Killing Archer should be the top of the list if they want to continue. :)

Enterprise has fans??

I saw 10 minutes of the pilot episode. I still want that 10 minutes of my life back.

I agree. The theme music is awful as well.Still I would not mind slipping a length to that Vulcan bit of totty, pointy ears n all. I would not kick her out of bed for farting.

I'm in total agreement with Ravanor.

I've watched quite a few episodes. Around 60% or so, I'd guess.

Scott Backula just isn't a strong enough actor to hold the Captain's chair. I really never gave a great deal of credit to the previous 'captains' from the previous Trek shows. Until I started watching Enterprise, that is.

The Archer character isn't one that I can possibly imagine as being Earth's best choice for leading a human crew into space, exploration and first contact.

I think it's a lot of little things as well that make for a poor series.

But one of the biggest things is clearly the unimaginative writing. A few of the shows were almost exact carbon copies of previous Trek shows. You're not going to win awards if your audience sits there saying, "Been there, seen that." half of the time.

As a Star Trek fan (though not a 'Trekkie'), I really do want what's best for the franchise. And to me that includes two things...

Dump the "Enterprise" series and start a new one a year later. Gotta let the bad taste of Enterprise go away first.
No more Trek movies directed by Jonathan Frakes.

Frakes isn't a bad director. But he does appear somewhat less imaginative than a Trek fan could hope for. The last Trek movie didn't do so well at the box office. I don't think it was bad, just not very exceptional either.

I will give him this though, Frakes has really put the Star Trek franchise into his heart. He's come to be highly dedicated to it. So I would support his presence as a consultant or advisor on any series or movie. He's just not 'lead' material.

Please put it out of it's misery.

I think that there have been some massive improvements in this last season, but I can't help but feel that this 3rd season should have been the 1st season. Why'd we mess around for two seasons trying to find a purpose? The entire Xindi storyline is pretty good and I like the time travel elements. I've always liked the cast.

However the show still feels like Voyager without some of the technology. They do manage to give some new twists to episodes, but a lot of the time I feel like I'm watching a retread. Last week's "Doctor's Orders" had them going through an area of space where they had to be asleep. I could have sworn that I was going to see a Voyager episode called "Night" with the exact same theme. The episode was entertaining, thanks to Phlox, but why have the same story? Isn't anyone paying attention to this? (Well, I guess the viewers are.)

I'd be bummed if it were to be cancelled, but I have a hard time rooting for it when other shows that I feel are better and more original have been axed. (Farscape, Firefly, Angel, for example).

Cancellation and a breather might be the best thing for Trek.

Incidentally, Spike TV did a marathon of Deep Space Nine. Now that's some good Trek! Maybe some people will see it this time around now that it's finally in syndication.

heh... I think "Angel" jumped the shark with that episode where Angel is a puppet.
