Events for the week of 7-18 thru 7-24

Ok, starting this one off on the right day this time.... :p:


I'd like to set up a LBRS ( Lower Blackrock Spire run ) in order to get the key for UBRS ( Upper Blackrock Spire ). In order to get the key, you need to obtain a "Seal of Ascention" and 3 Gems that fit into that seal. The Gems drop from 3 of the Bosses in LBRS, and the Seal drops off any random bad guy there. I'd like to have all Guild members if possible, and I could most likely get iinferno if needed, and Kelley and Beer and Happy have all said that they could bring thier lvl 60 guys to help too. That way I don't have to compete with other people to get those Gems and the Seal.... and then our guild would have access to UBRS anytime.

Also, I will be trying to get a BRD run together, to do the Onxyia key quest. If you are interested in going on this run, we will be focusing on getting this quest completed only. So we will go directly to Marshal Windsor in Jail, and then directly to the 2 Bosses that relate to that quest. Afterwards, we can focus directly on the Jailbreak quest....... after that, the follow-ups can be done on your own, its mostly just running around, but if everyone still has time, then we can all do the follow-ups together.

The Onxyia key will allow you to participate in the 40-man Raid in Onxyia's Cave in southern Dustwallow marsh. It's possible that our fellow Alliance Guild Amicita Cavus will be needing to fill some spots, and if some of us have keys, then we could join them for those runs.


On a lighter side, I know that Daz and Nef and Danthelia have some things in Uldaman left to clean up, so thats something else to think about too for the coming week.

My schedule is pretty open, as is Kelley and Beerme.... so its up to you other folks on a day/time for some of these things.

Speaking on behalf of Nef and Danth, we have 1 or 2 left that we wouldn't mind clearing out of there real fast.

My schedule is pretty open, as is Kelley and Beerme.... so its up to you other folks on a day/time for some of these things.

Generally, same for me. The only time where it gets a little tough (but definitely manageable if we're needed badly) is between 4:30 and 8:00 server time. Other than that, I would be free. Chana is more restrictive due to work schedule on most days this week. She would be free between 1:00 - 4:30 server time most days, and between 8:00 and 10:30 afterwards. The only exception to this is this upcoming Wednesday night where she doesn't have to work. If you want both of us, Chana's sched would be our basic restriction, if Mandorak alone works, then I'm free for the next 2 weeks still =).

What's the min level for these? I should hit 54 tonight or tomorrow.

BRD is definately fine for lvl 54. LBRS may be tricky only because of aggro radius.

The good part is that you can take up to 15 for that place, which is overkill, but a party anywhere near 10-15 should be able to cover your butt in case of trouble. If you hang back for the most part and let a Warrior or such get their attention first, then I would say its fine.

I definately think that a run of BRD, between 1:30 and 4:30 is doable, especially if we break it up between doing the Bosses at that time, and then maybe doing Jailbreak at night, in the 8:00+ time frame.

Also, the same early time frame would be good for Uldaman too, so we can mix up the days between that and BRD. On LBRS it sounds like maybe Wed. day might be good.... Daz, what is your thought on that.

Well,

I’m back at work. :(:

Didn't make 60 like I had hoped, I couldn't play Saturday evening, or yesterday. Saturday, we went to the Stampede again with my fiance's family, and I didn't get home until 1 am, and I was exhausted so I went straight to bed. Yesterday we went for dim sum, then out with my mom, sis and granpa… tonight is my mom's birthday, so I'll only be able to play for a couple of hours later on tonight.

I'm going to grind on my rest XP when I come on, so I can get as close to 60 as possible. I'm actually hoping I'll have enough rest XP now to take me all the way there. I have a few quests that I think I can solo, so that should help, too.

Once I hit the big 60, I'll be more than willing to do the instances, etc. I want to focus on getting this toon maxed in the meantime now.

Well, lets see what we can get accomplished today, around 1:00pm server time.

The quest starts with "Dragonkin Menace" in the Burning Stepps, and has you kill 15 or so Elite Dragonkin right there next to the Griff camp, and then you have to deliver messages to Lakeshire and Stormwind before you are sent to Blackrock to find the Marshal in Jail.

So we can go from there, and see how much of that we can do with help from Chantel and Thebeer. We can shoot for Wednesday for LBRS.

I figured there would be more people that needed yo do it, than just 5, so why dont we do some early today with Mando and Chana, and then catch you up later on when you log-in.

That way Mando and Chana can break for a few, and we can all end up in the same place.
