Well I recently decided to venture the world of oldies but goodies. Been a while since I played some good city-building game. Sim City is too modern. So I decided to reinstall Zeus: Master of Olimpus and Poseidon expansion pack. What a fun game this is. I even grabbed the new adventure pack for this game off fileplanet (didnt know there was one). I'll have to dig up some communities to see if there is any user-created content avaiable. Though playing through all the missions is still interesting =]

Anyone else get the urges to play some oldie game?

I hope we'll see more of the ancient city-building games like Zeus. I have so far Ceasar series, Pharoah and its expansion, Zeus and its expansion, and Children of the Nile which is also a great game with 3D now =]

I still play Mega-lo-mania, Populus II, Cannon Fodder, Hired Guns, etc., etc., for my trusty ol' Amiga.
Even every now and then I will break out Drelbs, Raid over Moscow, Raid over Buglon Bay, Jumpman, Beachhead, etc., etc. for the C64.

Currently playing through Planescape Torment, which is an oldie. Pretty good so far. It's my first time playing through the game, and I'm starting to enjoy it more and more.

RCT the original game won't run in XP. :(

Starcraft is crashing on me for some reason despite being patched.

Kiss Psycho Circus is working well enough though, I never finished it completely and may try to for kicks...one of the few people I think who liked it to an extent.

Was thinking of seeing how Serious Sam 1 or 2 runs at full glory on my modern machinery also, and if anyone is in MP.

In addition to the above been thinking about revisiting B&W in anticipation of the sequel later this year and NOLF (ah the year that was 2000 for PC games). I also started a Necromancer in D2 and play it on BNet once in a blue moon. Need a break from WoW for a while.

I thought we were talking about very old classics. :)

I replay older games all the time. I reinstalled Divine Divinity yesterday and started a new game. It's very good, sucks that it wasn't popular.

There are many games I want to replay: KotOR 1, Deus Ex, System Shock 2, Planescape: Torment (again), No One Lives Forever, Warcraft 3 (loved the SP campaign), Anachronox, Castlevania: SOTN for PS1...

I need to find a way to freeze time.

I don't play any of the very old stuff, but I do love to play stuff that's a few years old.
