Hi,

Im looking for PC games that have:

- Very easy learning curve
- Multiplayer ability either LAN or non-LAN
- Ability to join into the game without much setup.
- Preferably playable on controllers, if not thats fine too.

These games must be PC. The only thing I can think up of is NBA Hangtime (or NBA JAM). You can start the game easily and other players can get into the game easily by pressing start on the other controller too. And not to forget that its also 4 players.

There are alot of games that I can name but its only on consoles. the PC bomberman is crap since that came out wayyy long time ago. I'm trying to look for a shoot them up or beat them up side scroller for the PC. Any thoughts or recommendations!?

I heard the new lego star wars was multiplayer. I'll have to look into that.

Also, NO MAME or emulators.

thanks...

controllers, "start button on other controller to play" are you sure you're looking for a pc multiplayer game?

Generally (besides the old old old games) "multiplayer" is either over the net or via lan to two computers, not through the same computer.

Side scrollers/beat em ups are pretty much console main games these days.

Well, you have 2 rules that make it very tough to offer you much at all....

- Very easy learning curve

- Ability to join into the game without much setup.

There are alot of non-FPS games that we could suggest, but I'm sure many would agree that ones like Age of Empires and a few others are not very easy to learn at first.

My best suggestion, off the top of my head is...

Diablo/Dibalo II

Rune

for sports.. I know that both Madden and Tiger Woods are on PC, and most likely accept controllers, but I dont know if you would consider those "easy" games to learn.

thx..

yea i've been trying to figure out what fits those categories and I can't reallyl think up of many. One really old one was golden axe, but thats a bit too old.

what I'm trying to do right now is make a PC arcade machine which is based on time. I already have the internet cafe software for it to keep track of the time, but its quite hard to find these type of games. Aside from LAN games that needs prior knowledge to play like any FPS game. I am setting it up for a local arcade shop. They wanted some PC kind of setup.

So far I only have UT2k4, NBA Hangtime, and lego star wars installed. I know about the FPS games already but from my persepective UT seemed to be most fun. I never really liked CS for some reason... If you think there's a better fps please say... as it has to fit the above criteria.

thanks alot....
