Favorite spectator sport

What about the rest of you. What is your favorite spectator sport? I guess mine is football (American football, that is)

Well, I'm Canadian, so that means Basketball is foreign and about as exciting as watching paint dry to me (even though it was invented by a Canadian). My favorite spectator sport is obviously Hockey, followed closely behind by Canadian football (basically American football with a larger field and rule variations) and then American Football. After that (in order) I'll watch auto racing (Champ/CART and F1 only, I can't stand a race with a constant left turn), Boxing, Curling, Baseball, Bowling, Billiards, World Poker Championships, Soccer, and finally Basketball.

I'm with Bruenor, hockey all the way. It's even better when your team is one of the final four!

I also watch the odd F1 or Rally racing, if I happen to catch them on the glass teat.

American Football would still be number one even though it's getting increasingly harder to sit through a 3 hour game. Basketball number 2. I have grown to enjoy watching soccer over the past few years. I still watch some baseball. More so at play-off time. I like to watch hockey during the Olympics. I've never gotten into the pro hockey. It just seems to me they are ruining an interesting game at the pro level with a bunch of thuggery.

And of course, Curling. But everybody watches that.

5. Racing, except IRL and NASCAR and it's variants. Unless they are running a road course, then it's just funny as all hell to watch those NASCARs bumble their way around a road course...

1. Euro soccer
2. Racing (anything that isn't an oval/circle)
3. Basketball

Live spectator definitely baseball. The pace of the game and the focus on the duel between pitcher and batter shines at the ballpark.

On TV it would have to be football and the NCAA big dance. I used to enjoy hockey a lot and went to a ton of Islander games in their dynasty days. I haven't kept up with hockey though.

I would have to say my favorite sport to watch would be either drifting, dragracing, watching Donjo kick my/other people butts at 2k4, drifting, and accosionally autocross. I don't mind a good old game of hockey now and then either. But like others, I can't stand the constant left, left, left, left, left... and so on.
