HP, after strongly competing in the enterprise and consumer product markets, wants to enter the enthusiast market segment. The company's targets are Alienware, Voodoo PC, Falcon Northwest, and many other custom PC builders.

HP/Compaq isn't really a bad pc. Actually they are better than average. But for a gaming rig?..... I don't know. :no: I guess we'll see when it comes out.

I feel the same way I do about Dell making a gaming PC.

The only problem with this is that these so-called gaming PCs from Dell and HP lack overclocking and customizing BIOS features. Most gamers will OC once in a while if only for a benchmark.
