Freaky colours?!

Hello!

When im playing Counter-Strike after like 1-2 minutes this comes up "Runtime Error! Abnormal Program Termination!" and i have too restart my computer!

Every time when i start one of my games (Red Faction, IGI 1, Devastation) the colours on the game changes to red and the landscapes in the games looks like a earthquake and the texts are unreadeble! its almost impossible to play like that!

Pentium III 866 mhz
128 mb grafic
512 RAM memory

I have the Latest drivers to my new Nvidia GeForce MX 4000
new RAM memory
DirectX 9.0
nothing running i the background
no virus
and only during games

Give us your system specs, such as what operating system you're running, what video card (if any) you're using, etc.

What version of DX are you using, 9.0 ??

Have you downloaded and installed the latest drivers for your video card ??

Other than the game, do you have any other programs running in the background, such as some form of anti-virus ??

Have you tried adjusting your game's video settings lower ??

Is it only during games? Or does the same thing happen when firing up a movie or such?

Check the graphics settings for the video card in the Advanced tab in the Display Properties >> Settings control panel. Pay special attention to various values in the the "Overlay controls" section. While you're here, you might check that your monitor information is displaying correctly as well.
