I've taken to buying all my games these last few months through eBay overseas in the UK. I've mainly done this because the games come in a DVD case rather then the poorly done Cardboard Boxes they use over here in the US. It saves in storage space because I only have to store the DVD case and not both a cd case and a cardboard box... Not to mention the DVD case just looks better. The problem I've run into is that It's apparently not easy to find UK eStores with good prices in the currency exchange rates, IE: GAME X = 25.00GBP = 45.93USD. In the US this game may coast about $35/40USD... A good example of this would be Driv3r @ £19.99 = 36.72USD and with shipping aprox. 40USD although in the US this game is 25/30USD. The thing is I've taken to buying games over in the UK for a few reasons; DVD Case and The games are not open which also makes for buying a birthday gift so much easier. Here in the US both EBGames and GameStop (at least in New York, Maryland, Florida, and a few other states I travel to allot) have taken to Opening all there games and I always happen to buy a game that’s damaged in some way or another, and 1/2 the times they have lost the manual not to mention making it impossible to buy a gift for someone when all the games are pre-opened. So I was wondering if anyone has a good eStore where I can get the games in the UK at a good currency conversion? I've managed to find many older games but nothing with new releases.
