Star Wars battlefront date moved up

Even as a retired online MP and no longer action oriented gamer, that looks like a great new title. Assuming it's well done, the difference here is that you get to play in the StarWars universe on ten different planets in any one of several factions. So the game will at least have some context that most people like and are already very familiar with.

For the same reasons I was initially interested in StarWars: Galaxies. But since I have yet to be drawn into any MMORPG and the first reviews / comments were not very positive, I decided not to jump into that deep water. So at least for now, I'm still concentrating purely on SP PC games that allow unlimited saves to accommodate a rather busy and often unpredictable schedule.

But if this title turns out to be as good as it looks, that might change after all. The only other online game I'm currently considering is WoW. That too looks like it could be a great deal of fun in a familiar game world, based on an existing franchise I love.

In the meantime, I still need to play KOTOR and if time permits WC3.

Yes, Battlefront looks good although I did a "side by side" comparison or of the movie clips from both Battlefront and the SW Mod: Galactic conquest, and I thought the Mod came out looking better.

Now the big difference was that the Battlefront movie did not show all the planets/vehicles/gameplay that the SW Mod did, so I may not have the "Big Picture", so I'll be waiting to see some comments on this one after it comes out.
