Bah!

I am just about to exchange the game. It doesn't quite fit my tastes for a variety of reasons.

A) Dark, yeah, I am a wuss... I can't stand gratuity in anything and this one hits that spot.

B) Performance issues... runs like crap and doesn't look that good either

C) Random bugs... nothing too big, just little things that make it frustrating

I called EB and talked to the manager and he says that he'll let me turn it in even though it has been opened for store credit... maybe I'll find me some cheap grabs on the shelf for my $40 back.

Mods can delete this thread if they wish, unless anyone else wants to chime in on this topic.

i never quite understood what all the fascination is with this game
i managed to get to the beach in the very first part of the game looked into the darkness over the sea and my framerate bombed it must have gone down to 3fps and i just thought why?!
another bit was when i was in the hospital (i think i was just looking for some painkillers for a dying man on a sofa) and the lady on the front desk kept saying that i couldnt enter and had to wait soo out came mister baseball bat, i killed everyone in there but alas police kept spawning around me and i just thought why?! (again)
so that was it and i havent played it since maybe i will again one day but untill then ill stick to morrowind/bloodmoon

one thing i did think was great in the game though was the npc's eyes

So someone tells you not to do something, because you think painkillers are just something you can walk into a hospital and grab, right by the front desk nurse no less, and when she tells you to stop, you slaughter the entire waiting room in a tantrum, and have an army of cops on your a$$, and wonder WHY?????????????

Maybe there's a less obvious way to get that morphine if you don't have a prescription?

Hope they give you "all" of the $40 back Donshy, if you don't like it, it's a sad situation ultimately what happened to that game, and Troika going under.

It's a decent role playing game, but cumbersome and slow paced, and struggles to hold people's attention I think. Both games in the series have flaws, but underneath the technical glitches, they know how to make a good RPG. It's too bad they didn't have the technical talent to pull it off more smoothly.

Yeah, I got my full price back as store credit... didn't see anything on the shelf that interested me so I have an Edge card with some money on it.

I am thinking... Pariah!

At least it all worked out. :)

Do not expect about graphic and animation in vampire because they're very poor quality and have a big bug that make your frame rate going down (change shadow to normal mode and turn quality slide to low will help a little bit.). Anyways vampire has a pritty good story, Many of the quests are so fun and you can play it many times with different ways by different characters. Many people are give up at the beginning but i suggest that try to pass Santa Monica first after that you will see better things of this game.

But if you want to exchange, hummm i think SWAT 4 and Stronghold 2 are the great choices for now.

hahaha you know what i mean
as if you never went on a rampage just to see what happend
it was just the respawning police though that i didnt like, it just seemed odd that it was just a small room but you just couldnt clear it.
