Gamespy really likes this one. I think I will too, so I'm picking it up ASAP.

.

I read that too and really like all the new additions to the game like the dual good / evil characters bound together by powerful spell, other optional party members that you can summon and stylize plus the randomly generated "battlefield" dungeon crawls for extra practice and badly needed XP to level-up when things just get too tough out there in that sprawling, non-linear game world.

Divine Divinity was a very good non-D&D SP CRPG and this looks like an excellent follow-up. I understand that Beyond Divinity is not the true sequel and that Larian is already working on that - which is even better news in light of the BIS closing by Interplay, the problems with Troika's first forray into D&D games and the MS / BioWare buy-out rumors. I think that Larian could do a great job with the D&D license if they ever get the chance.

Cheers, Terry
