I loaded my copy to see if I would have the same problem and strangely enough I did but not the same error. I thought that a .icd file had something to do with copy protection but I could be wrong. Ether way I found that the DEMO worked perfectly fine which was odd. So I decided to try something that would let me play without the disc (not permitted to be discussed here so I won't mention it) and the game worked fine which was really strange. So for me I guess the game did not want to work and I think it was due to the copy protection. Not sure what really made me think about this (most likely because of a post I just made about StarForce as possibly stopping someone from playing Psi-Ops)... Anyway, I hope that helps in some strange way since I really can't give more details since such things are against the forums rules btu your answer to fix your problem most likely is in another direction  :brows:

If this violates the Forums rules in any way please delete my post... I generally do not delve into things like this but I did try to explain it in a round about way.

My copy came with ether a video card or a sound card a long while back (Don't remember which). I have no idea why it would have to do with copy protection but I did get it working with a work around.
