Crystal Dynamics already delivered Snowblind to the Xbox and PlayStation 2 nearly a month before it arrived on the PC, and it will be apparent to PC shooter fans that the game was built specifically with these consoles in mind.

This is the Deus Ex spinoff that had promise, but has the consolish feel. I'm getting pretty tired of this. I understand the need to create games across different ports due to costs, but too, too many do a mediocore job at best.

This game would be fine if they used a mouse and keyboard design, and allowing you to save the game in the demo would make it more playable.

The game was pretty good on the XBox, better than Deus EX:IW was, but it looks like the PC version once again suffers from severe consolitis. This isn't a shot at consoles either, but developers need to learn that there are very few games that work well on one platform and port over cleanly and work well on another. Ah well.

Yes, I would definitely concur with the whole console feel. I didn't like the demo very much, either, because it drops you in the middle of the game, without tutorial, and with only a passing cursory go-over of movement and basic combat. Nothing on how to use your powers, nothing on working in the environment.

Plus a gigantic WTF to the guy who thought it was a good idea to REQUIRE that you hit "use" in front of a ladder, go up the ladder, then hit "use" again. I have never, ever seen such a ****-tastic movement system in my life.

Go play Psychonauts instead! :D
