More than 60,000 pirated copies of Nintendo Co. game consoles were seized Wednesday during raids in New York and New Jersey, prosecutors announced.

This article is confusing me...

Pirated video game console? Don't they mean pirated video games? Or are you not allowed to import video game consoles from other countries? Or are they illegally manufactured clones of Game Cubes?
