Hmm, thinking about selling some stuff. I've been trading in console games like mad lately to pay for PC games and hardware and such, but now I am thinking about selling the whole lot. So you ebayer's out there, in your opinion what could I roughly for...

Gamecube
2 standard controllers
251 Block Memory Card
1 Wavebird
Gameboy Player (about 7 GBA games)
21 games

XBox
2 S-Controllers
26 Games

PS2
Network Adapter
2 8 mb Memory Cards
2 Standard Controllers
30 Games

Hmmm.... Can't believe I ran the console forum at one time. I just don't play the damn things anymore. In fact, my daughter wrecked one of my Gamecube games by pulling it out of the case, licking it, scratching it, and I reacted with a big old "meh". I didn't even care, but then again the game was Bloodrayne so.......

By the time she'll enjoy mario games, the next Nintendo will be out anyway.

You're a big ebayer Zed, what could I get?

Might want to use the proceeds to build my new super rig around the GF6800

Well, I'd say a pretty fair chunk, but I'm not sure off the top of my noggin. Have you surfed around eBay to see what things are going for? I'd say look for similar system/controller/game deals for each console type, then add them up, and knock a few bucks off. You may end up doing really well, actually!

One thing: don't forget when eBay-ers buy big packages, they expect a GREAT deal. You may be better off selling things in a broken down state.

I should add: by the tone of your original post, it seemed you wanted to sell it all together. If that's not the case, just ignore me. :):

Selling your stuff on ebay is definitely preferable to dumping it at EB or someplace like that...they never pay fair.

Not necessarily all together, but I would prefer to sell in at "console packages" that way I don't get stuck with a few odd games that just don't sell (like what happened when I sold my Dreamcast in separate piece's).

Yeah, the "console bundles" method would undoubtedly be the way to go.

Err. I guess it doesn't matter anyway.

The wife won't let me sell them, and she's the boss.

That's the key to our good marriage, a little give and a little take. I give, and she takes.

And knowing that she surfs these boards, after she reads the above comment I can gaurantee that I won't be getting whatever she can give, that's for sure.

We need a "digging a hole" smilie
