It's the whole stupid fileplanet thing where it wants to open the browser but for some reason on my computer it can't. It says that I don't have a program to open .aspx files, so I go and open a folder, go tools--> folder options, file types tab and look for .aspx. Can't find it so I make one to open with IE, doesn't work, Opera, same thing. This has happened with other Filecrapet downloads as well. I asked Donjo to look for his default thing but he had no .aspx default and hasn't used Filecrap in at least 3 years.

You using WinXP or 98? If you use Win98 still you might need to create a file association with the good old file manager program. Start, run, winfile (I think). I've seen file associations not always work in Win98 until you create the association in file manager along with explorer.

Do you have the .NET framework installed on this machine?

What is it exactly you're trying to download? Did you check the 3D Gamers Tribes 2 section (http://www.3dgamers.com/games/tribes2/) for what you're looking for?

Do you have the .NET framework installed on this machine? yes but I don't know why.
What is it exactly you're trying to download? full version of tribes and tribes 2 (tribes had a different installer). Only available through fileplanet or CWG demo disc (I get the mag not the disc).
Regardless, I installed it on my sisters computer then copied it over. The only thing wrong is registry files which I tried to transfer but it doesn't matter because it worked anyway.
