Does anyone here know where I can get the demo or buy the full version?! Gamespot requires me to download some plugins which ****ed my system previously. Any alternatives?

Wow, I was just thinking about this gam enot too long ago...I remember I could barely run it on my old system. I might look into this myself...

For some reason my copy keeps crashing before the game even starts... I think it's one of those apps that had been lost in the switch to XP (even when using Compatibility settings the game wouldn't run on any of my systems). I'll bet it would run fine under Virtual PC though...

IIRC, that game had a history of crashing. It was a long time ago, but besides performance issues, it was very unsatble, the demo anyway.

I don't remember having any crashes when it first came out... but I do remember a few performance issues although I had thought at the time it was just the character animations since all games at the time didn't really have smooth character animations.

I D/L from Gamespot DLX all the time with no plug-ins required, not sure what's going on there...? It just d/l's and saves files directly to my HDD. They do have an optional download manager you can use also, maybe that's what you're referring to?

Gamespot DLX allows to you download regularly or using thier client. Go into your accoutn preferences and suit if for you. :thumbup:
