:mad: I am experiencing a major annoyance with this game.
As soon as the game has loaded and the menu appears I am experience severe lagging.
The audio for the mouse movement in the menu cant keep it with the cursor.
This is an indication that the game will also have severe lag.
If I ignore the menu issue and start the game, when the game begins its so slow that it take several seconds for the picuture to move after moving the mouse. I've installed the latest patch v1.03, graphics driver and audio driver.
Uninstalled the game several times, but nothing changes the problem.
I have no more ideas what to do.
Has anybody out there experienced this problem.
My specs are more than enough.
XFX Geforce 6800GT
1028Mb DDR RAM
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton)

Can anybody please, please help.

Go into the BrothersInArms\System Sub Folder and look for options in there with a True/False setting and try tweaking them... Also look for a setting called

CacheSizeMegs=32

and change it to:

CacheSizeMegs=256

All settings you change will be written over when you start the game so you will have to write protect the file after you make changes. When you do that you wull not be able to make any changes in game until you exit and un-write protect the file.

Hope that works for you... But to be honest it might not really help at all. This game is prob. the most bug filled game in existence and an overwhelming number of people are still not able to play this game since its release. The game is very sketchy and feels like an incomplete beta. I was one of the lucky people who were able to complete the game without any bugs popping up in single player and Multiplayer is pretty dreadful. The main problem is they did not tweak the game for the PC... It's a direct port of the Xbox version with a few ini tweaks in the Unreal Engine ini files (there’s a tiny bit more to it then that but that’s the basic idea). The game was dropped to $30 - $35 almost everywhere less then a week after release. I would recommend going to the gearbox forums for help or to let them know of your problem but you will not find any help there and are very likely to be met with ether someone from gearbox trash talking you or the 5 or so fan boys that hand out there will attack you. I tried to help a large number of people in there tech forums but It didn't look to me like they wanted to help anyone or fix there product.
