To those that say "we need more scoring in hockey", or "1-0 games are boring", I say to you sir or madam, ttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppptttttttttttttttttt tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt ttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt :P
That was one of the best overall games I've seen in quite a while. "The woman" and I were doing a happy dance when Gelinas (like a felon-as) popped in that puck and it was only fitting that Nefarious Slasher (Derian Hatcher) left him WFO on the back side. Typical brain dead play from him. (Btw, I hope the god the league pops good him for that wicked elbow he threw on Lombardi).

Not my team so to speak, but I love their energy, enthusiasm and really, really, really hate Detroit. :)

heh, thanks Mara.
And I have to agree with you on those points, Gen. It was fun watching the game, I loved that Gelinas seemed almost surprised that the puck was his on what might as well have been an empty net shot.
I was also happy to see "Kipper" get his second straight shutout. Very good game overall. But you sure could tell that Detroit is an older team; they were looking very tired, and their line changes lacked a certain finesse.

Yep, that was a great game last night. I would have loved to have been at the Pengrowth Panty Shield (seriously, that building looks like a big old maxi-pad) last night, the atmosphere last night was electric.
A San Jose/Calgary Western Final would be fantastic. The team that Daryl Sutter built versus the team that Daryl Sutter built, Kipper versus his old team, etc.

Yeah, that'd be cool. We'll know who they're playing by Thursday night at latest.
And it's NOT a "panty shield," Bruenor!!! It's a saddle! grumble mumble grumble...
hmph.

That just means the Saddledome's getting a LOT more action than Rexall Place (or is that Rectum Place?) these days...

We prefer to call it the Drug Den, the Pharmacy or the Pillbox up here. And hey, it has some action going on right now! We've got... umm... Figure Skating right now

lol, gen! That's great. :)
Though I have to admit Bruenor, as much as I like hockey, there's something to be said about some of those petite female figure skaters... infinitely better to look at than those stinky sweaty hockey goons.
