That's actually a rather positive review, I've read some that were a lot worse. It does look like a balanced review IMO, for people that liked DD, or that like RPG's it's worth the money. For people that don't like RPG's, it isn't.

I truly enjoyed Divine Divinity and have been hoping that the "semi-sequel" would be as good. Sounds as if Larian did another fine job and added several nice, new elements in the process. Along with the official patch, I think Beyond Divinity is going up a notch on my current must-get PC game list.
