Just a quick technical note:

The BG Original Saga is great (I have a copy and have played it). But it does automatically install both the original game, all final patches and the TOTSC EP all at once, which "could" render any of your current BG 1 save games null and void. I think I even remember reading something to that effect in the installation notes - that saves from previous / earlier / unpatched versions of the game would not necessarilly work with this two-game / all-in-one retail re-release.

So be sure to check on that before you buy, install and try to open any older BG 1 save games with it.
