BIA: Road to Hill 30" - developed by Gearbox released by Ubisoft. Picked it up today and played the first 5 missions. What I'm finding to be unique about this game (at least for a console) is how studiously Gearbox approached the presentation of the 101st Airborne's first 8 days in Normandy. This is a well researched game that gets high marks for immersion. The archival extras chronicling the history of the Screaming Eagle’s role in the invasion are extraordinary. My only complaint is that I wish there was more - granted some of the extras have to be unlocked on higher difficulties. Even this early in the game I find myself empathizing with the plight of my squad mates. BIA is not for the kiddies, the soldiers talk like soldiers (swearing) and bleed when shot. I'm playing in 480p widescreen mode and the graphics are good. I have seen better on the Xbox but they don't detract (too much) from the game. The audio is some of the best I've heard on the box. In DD 5.1 the weapons bark with true authenticity. If you're a gamer who has an interest in WWII then BIA is a no brainer. It's sort of like getting the opportunity to play HBO's Band of Brothers in a videogame, and if you are familiar with that series then you know that I’m offering high praise

yea. The game seems like Call of Duty's action, sound and immersion combined with Full Spectrum Warrior tactics and whatnot. Gonna be playing some more of it today :):
