This story upsets me.

Man Zapped By Police At Chuck E Cheese (http://www.channelcincinnati.com/news/4245190/detail.html)

I hate tasers, they're stupid, unnecessary and further erode our power as citizens to defend ourselves and practice our given rights. The threat of being shot, rubber bullets, and armor is quite enough thank you.

Zapping some guy in front of kids on the lap of a woman holding an infant over a salad bar dispute? Police incompetence at it's finest.

The worst example of the police state we're moving towards are the DUI road blocks (stopping people and searching and questioning them for no reason whatsoever other than to try and find someone to bust without suspicion or probable cause).

Expect your grandchildren to be growing up in City 17 some day if we keep accepting this behavior from the powers that be.

Get in line boy!! "Zap!" What'd you say boy? "Zap!" Lawyer?? Phone call? Ha! "Zap!!!" Shut up and get in that cell with the deranged murderer waiting for his hearing, I need to reach my quota this month! I don't care if it's just an overdue parking ticket! "Zap!"

Seems like both sides were at fault there. This 29-year old guy has no excuse for being so uncooperative with the manager that he was forced to call the police. I think he likely deserved to be tasered a few times just for being stupid.

On the other hand, the police seemed to hand the situation like a couple of incompetent rookies with visions of Dirty Harry filling their simple heads.
